The use of violence against abortionists is having the effect of reducing their numbers considerably, since medical students no longer choose abortion as a career because of the risks to their own safety.
However, because we prolifers believe in non-violence, which therefor impels us to protect the babies, we must continue to urge for non-violent solutions, and use violence ONLY as a last resort where all other methods have failed.
In other words, abortionists should only be shot if they are working in areas where the law allows them to continue their bloodthirsty murderous rampage. If they are working in areas where the law does not allow them to do so, then the law must be brought to bear on them, and they should only be shot if the law is ineffective in stopping them.
Because all the shootings of abortionists that have occurred so far have happened only as a last resort, when all other methods failed, we prolifers can continue to rest easy, with a clear conscience. But just the same, eternal vigilance is required, so that the moral principle of only using violence as a last resort to stop mass murderers continues to be maintained. That way we will be practicing what we preach to the fullest extent possible.
